Vellum/CAED Competition & Exhibition

The college is pleased to announce the 6th annual Vellum/CAED Furniture Competition and exhibit. Open to the public and sponsored by Vellum Design Build and the CAED.

Opening Reception: Friday, October 30th, 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm at
Atmodsphere, 1119 Chorro Street at Higuera Street in San Luis Obispo.

The exhibition runs Thursday, October 29th through Saturday,
October 31st, 2009.

Wally B. Gordon, AIA: 2009 CAED Honored Alumni

Wally B. Gordon (B.S 78 and B.Arch 80) was selected by the Cal Poly Alumni Association as the 2009 Honored alumnus from the College of Architecture and Environmental Design.

"Mr. Gordon is President of DLM and has more than 25 years of experience in architectural design and construction administration for public and private sector clients. Many of Mr. Gordon's efforts have involved coordinating and working with committees and community groups to provide appropriate avenues for effective planning solutions. Mr Gordon's experience also includes the technical coordination and execution of construction documents and construction administration for many school facilities."

In celebration of this honor, the Cal Poly Alumni Association will be
hosting the Honored Alumni Awards Banquet on
Friday, October 16, 2009 during Homecoming Weekend.
